Valhalla had been shut since autumn 2019. The seaside theme park teasing an opening date of mid-April sparked anticipation. Many appeared delighted to see Valhalla's return and were willing to accept any disruption to the ride, which is not ready to open fully to the public. In turn understanding any "tweaks" still to be made to special effects, audio and other structural areas, with the purpose of technical rehearsals to iron out any issues that may occur. The ride is set to continue to undergo technical rehearsals over the coming days, before officially relaunching soon.
