We were sent to customer services and completed the lost property form. We went back to the ride but were met with shrugs and "oh-well" behaviour from the staff and even a "smirk" along with a you'll never see that phone again kind of expression. Feeling a bit deflated, some of us spent the day scouring the area trying to see if we could see where the phone fell which was just hopeless but we had to try right. We were advised to go back to customer services at the end of the day. We did this and were then advised to see security at the gate. We also did this and was promptly advised that "we'll call you if we find anything". The following day we were leaving Blackpool, so ever the optimists we called the customer service number and asked if anything had been found. We were advised yet again that "we'll call you" and that it was "too soon, it could be days" and "as you can imagine, we get lots of lost phones".

Having to scan the phone before going on every ride was a bit of a faff. The park was immaculate. We were told by one of the staff members that they would be available near the Alison in Wonderland ride which they were so we had to go to customer services. Staff were able to quickly and politely assist. Families with members not wishing to ride will be deterred from attending. The staff at the entrance were helpful and polite. The park was clean and tidy.

It's no secret that guests regularly mistakenly drop things from rides and leave belongings on benches - whether it be from an unzipped pocket or a forgetful friend - but sometimes the missing items aren't as typical as you may think. Of course the amusement park has seen its fair share of iPhones, wallets, keys and handbags. It’s not unusual to find a lost phone at an amusement park, in fact it’s probably the most common find with Blackpool Pleasure Beach staff admitting they find hundreds a year. Fully charged Nokia 3310 phone was found, and it poses a couple of odd questions, such as how long has the phone been lost for, or even weirder still, why is someone using a Nokia brick in the 2020s.
